HELP US FIND EUROPE’S OLDEST WORKING TRIMAX PEGASUS

25 Years of Pegasus. Still Going Strong.

This year marks 25 years of the Trimax Pegasus, and we’re celebrating by searching for the oldest working Trimax Pegasus still out in the field across Europe.

Before the turn of the millennium, Trimax founder Bob Sievwright saw a growing need for a mower that could cover more ground efficiently while maintaining the quality of cut customers expected from Trimax.

Using the successful ProCut mower deck as the foundation, the team set out to create a large-format trailed mower that could fold for transport and tackle the demands of municipal mowing. In 1999, after weeks of hard work and Kiwi ingenuity, the first prototype was born.

Following extensive development and customer feedback, Pegasus was launched in the UK in 2001. It quickly transformed expectations of large-area mowing and helped establish Trimax as a leading name in municipal turf maintenance. Twenty-five years later, Pegasus continues to deliver reliable performance across Europe.

Every Trimax Pegasus has a story. We’re looking for the machines – and the people behind them – that have kept mowing for decades.

Has your Pegasus been delivering reliable performance for 10, 15, 20 years or more?

To enter:

  • Post a photo or video of your Pegasus on social media
  • Tell us how long you’ve owned it, where it works and how you’ve used it
  • Tag Trimax
  • Send us a direct message with your mower’s serial number so we can verify its age

We’ll feature some of the oldest machines and their owners, sharing the stories behind the mowers that have stood the test of time.

Entries closed on 30 September 2026.

The owners of the three oldest verified working Trimax Pegasus will receive exclusive Trimax merchandise, with the owner of the oldest verified working Pegasus receiving a special 25th Anniversary prize.

The oldest verified machines and their stories will be revealed in November as part of our 25th Anniversary celebrations and may be featured at upcoming industry events.
